One of my favorite trends of this season is the Baroque/Guided trend. I think the lavishness and luxury of that trend is what appeals to me, and as an average teen girl,I wouldn't get many opportunities to wear clothes like that? I wish I could, ya' know, just casually walk around in, haute coture masterpieces and have no one look at me like a mentally unstable individual, but I don't have the funds to entertain my every fashion whim.*Sigh* Maybe someday. But if I did, you know people would be shocked:

Somewhat of a history buff, yes I am. I love the renaissance eras of Europe. From the rosy cheeked cherubs to the ivory sculpted masterpieces, the art and fashion of that era (look up) never ceases to blow my mind.

Thank you, it was so hard not to post 50 pics just of the dolce show, loved it all!
DeleteI WANT that bag in the DIOR advert! Great post.
ReplyDeleteI know, it took me soo long to find it! Thank you!
DeleteI too love the Baroque trend! I have to say though that Dolce in my opinion really set the standard for this trend. The show was over the top, opulent and grand- everything a Baroque couture should be! I did like the very Baroque-esque boots that Oscar de la Renta put in his show...
